David Rynne, Nitij Pal and Stephen Clugston at the 47th Australian Export Awards

After winning the 2009 NSW Exporter of the Year Award, in the “small to medium services” category for "outstanding export achievement in a recognised services industry, sales under $15 million per year", PLN Lawyers was nominated as a national finalist in the same category at the 47th Australian Export Awards. PLN Lawyers was represented at the National Awards Ceremony held at Parliament House in Canberra, on 20 November 2009 by Nitij Pal (Senior Associate), Stephen Clugston (Solicitor), and David Rynne (Chartered Accountant).

The 47th Awards were organised in conjunction with the Australian Trade Commission (AusTrade) and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI). The event had an extensive guest list, including the chief guest, the Honourable Simon Crean, Minister for Trade and other members of parliament (both Federal and State), and other leading businesses recognised for their success in exporting from Australia.

Overall, winning the NSW Exporter of the Year Award and being nominated as a finalist for the Australian Exporter of the Year Award marks a huge success for PLN Lawyers, and our achievement of being only the second law firm ever to win at a state level exemplifies our commitment to success.
