PLN Lawyers is an independent Australian owned law firm established by John Ridgway, Managing Partner.
In November 2002 PLN Lawyers was created to export legal services to business executives, corporate general counsel, government and entrepreneurs engaged in business of all sizes throughout the Pacific.
To facilitate the provision of export legal services PLN Lawyers formed links with other law firms within the Pacific region and these independently owned and operated law firms became affiliates of the Pacific Legal Network ('PLN') and provide legal services for those international or Australian clients with an interest in the region.
PLN’s affiliates include law firms or lawyers located in American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
PLN Lawyers has adjunct business advisory businesses in Nadi, Fiji Islands and Port Vila, Vanuatu.
Recently PLN Lawyers joined an initiative with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a large international US law firm. DWT Pacific has now significantly broadened PLN Lawyers' reach into the US Pacific territories, the US mainland and China.
