John Ridgway is the Managing Partner of PLN Lawyers and the founder of PLN. John is a lawyer with extensive Australian and Pacific experience.

John operates from the PLN offices in Sydney. John has been in practice since 1987, specialising in Australian and Pacific business transactions since 1991. John has worked and been associated with some of Australia's largest law firms.

John has lived in Sydney and in the Pacific (Vanuatu), was Chairman of the Vanuatu Financial Centre Association for three years and, as editor and reporter, published the first series of Law Reports in the Republic of Vanuatu for the years 1980 to 1994.

John first established PLN in November 2000.

John has expertise in banking and finance, mergers/acquisitions, offshore finance transactions, insurance and commercial litigation.

John is also an Executive Member of the Australia-Pacific Islands Business Council following a 3 year term as President and is also an Executive Member of the Australia-Fiji Business Council.
