Tara has joined the Pacific Legal Network as a Law Clerk, based in the Brisbane office in Australia. Originally from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG), he is in the final year of his undergraduate law degree with Griffith University and plans to pursue a commercial law career after graduation.

In addition to bringing fresh eyes to the team, Tara has held several previous roles both in the PNG public and private sector primarily in the Oli and Gas industry, bringing with him a wealth of valuable commercial experience.  Tara is fluent in Pidgin & Motu and maintains strong professional relationships in PNG, which can be utilised to meet client’s needs. 

Being from the Pacific, Tara is passionate about all things ‘Pacific Islands’ and is a welcome addition to our team of “home grown” Pacific professionals.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys fishing, pacific style, with a simple hand line. And on the odd occasion, when the Canberra Raiders are playing at Suncorp stadium, you will find Tara wearing Raiders gear and passionately supporting his favourite team.
