Pacific Legal Network is pleased to announce we have been named a finalist in the NSW Development Impact Award category at the NSW Export Awards 2019.
Pacific Legal Network is the only law firm to reach the finalist stage of the Awards and this is the fourth time in nine years PLN has been a finalist, having then gone on to win an award twice.
Pacific Legal Network has been recognised in the Development Impact Award category which recognises companies creating an outstanding positive impact on communities in developing countries through the export of goods and/or services or through their operations.
John Ridgway, Head of Legal Services at PLN said “We are again really excited to have been recognised by being named as a finalist in the NSW Premiers Export Awards. In particular, on this occasion, we are really pleased to be a finalist in the Development Impact Award category. This recognition again gives credence to all that Pacific Legal Network is about. We seek and welcome being involved in so many amazing projects that have a positive impact on the climate. We cherish the work we do having a positive social impact on the people in the Pacific, and of course we find a way to have some fun in the process.”
The Premier’s NSW Export Awards is an annual program which aims to recognise excellence in the export of goods and services by NSW businesses. The Awards acknowledge the important contribution of businesses to the economy through job creation and increased prosperity for the community and for the state.
Kylie Bell, Executive Director of Trade & Investment at NSW Treasury said "we applaud the commitment and tenacity of NSW exporters who have successfully met the challenges of doing business in the international marketplace”.
