Press Release: PLN Australia's Samantha Cook finalist for Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30

PLN Australia is pleased to announce Samantha Cook is a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 in the category ProBono. The 30 Under 30 recognises young lawyers striving for professional excellence within their specific practice areas. The award recognises Sam’s hard work, focus and dedication in her career within the law and towards PLN Australia. Sam is an Associate in the Corporate and International Business team, with a focus on cross-border M&A, corporate advisory and general commercial law matters. While kick-starting her legal career in Beijing at a top-tier international law firm, Sam’s passion for the Pacific has fostered her enthusiasm to assist clients on a wide-range of corporate and commercial matters in the Pacific with PLN Australia, including acquisitions, investments, and general corporate and commercial advice. John Ridgway, Head of Legal Services for PLN Australia commented: "we are delighted to have Sam nominated for this award, and we are extremely proud of our pro bono involvement which has underwritten this nomination. In particular the empowerment of women in the Pacific, which was at the core of this particular project, was and remains one of our key focus points in our day to day activities across the Pacific. We enjoyed the project, working with the ITC (a joint subsidiary of the United Nations and the WTO) on the project and we are proud of Sam's enthusiasm and commitment to it."
