Surly's

"Feels like we are in America"

The American bar scene continues to creep its way into Sydney’s nightlife and Surly’s is another welcomed addition! Tucked away from noisy Oxford Street on Campbell Street, Surry Hills, Surly’s brings a whole new meaning to mac n cheese (or at least offers a yummy one!). Beer enthusiasts will be satisfied with what’s on offer behind the bar – Stone and Wood, Young Henrys, Coors and PBR. And might we mention the margaritas are on point! The bartenders are friendly and more than happy to provide you with a recommendation. In terms of food, Surly’s has all your classic Southern American barbecue favourites. Collectively we sampled brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, nachos, onion rings and wings. The portions are quite generous and most mains come with the option of two sides. Be sure to order the BBQ beans! All in all we enjoyed a fabulous evening at Surly’s and can’t wait to go back for more! Go for… a beer with friends whilst watching the Game. Don’t go… if country western music isn’t your thing.
