Press Release: PLN Australia appoints PNG Special Counsel

PLN Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Toua as Special Counsel, further strengthening the PacificLegal Network (PLN) team of PNG specialists. Paul has extensive experience as a lawyer in both private practice and as head in-house counsel. Paul brings to Pacific Legal Network many years of experience providing legal and corporate advisory services to a range of clients including high net worth individuals, companies in the oil and gas industries, institutional investors and other commercial interests. Paul has helped numerous companies doing or looking to do business in Papua New Guinea with due diligence projects, compliance and regulatory advice, advising on corporate structures, incorporating special purpose investment vehicles and subsidiaries and advising on stamp duty and taxation implications. Coming hot on the heels of appointing Fairfax Legal as the PNG member firm of PLN, Paul's addition to the team will give inbound clients further access to informed and relevant advice in PNG. He will be based in Brisbane so that Australian clients now have direct access to PLN services in Sydney and Brisbane as well as all major cities in the Pacific.
